A small, easy to use, accurate and affordable talking kitchen scale that can be used by anyone who wants to weigh food in either grams or ounces. It has a 6 lb 10 oz or 3000 grams weight capacity. You turn it on, and after it speaks 'Hello' and 'I'm ready' you can place the food on the stainless steel platform or in the plastic bowl. A pleasant lady's voice announces the grams or ounces. There is a tare function if you want the weight of the food excluding the bowl. An easily replaceable 9-volt battery is included. The platform measures 9 x 6 x 1 inches.
